Alejandro Miquel Garcia spent his youth traveling across the United States and several foreign countries. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1993 and received his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law in 1996. During law school, he actively lobbied for the American Bar Association, which included being part of the Immigration Reform Committee lobbying for the rights of immigrants and assisting with decisions that enacted new legislation. Mr. Garcia also volunteered for AYUDA providing pro bono legal work for individuals seeking political asylum in the United States of America.

After graduating from law school, Alejandro practiced criminal defense law in Coral Gables, Florida and then became an Associate at Dracos and Associates in North Miami Beach, where he specialized in personal injury defense. After several years of outstanding success, he became a Senior Supervising Attorney, independently managing a satellite firm with 6 attorneys and 16 staff members. In 2001, he joined Toral & Associates and his practice consists primarily of personal injury litigation and trial work.

Mr. Garcia has tried over 40 jury trials to verdict and was voted Best of the Bar for Personal Injury in the Miami Business Review in 2002. He is a member of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, the Broward County Bar Association, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the South Florida PIP Lawyers Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Trial Lawyer’s Section of the Florida Bar and the Florida Bar. Alex is admitted to practice before all Florida Courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

He has been a volunteer with Camilus House in Miami, Florida, and continues to be involved with Habitat for Humanity, as well as, providing pro bono services to the community.
