Biography
Brain Injury Association of Florida President’s Message
A Brain Injury Attorney Who Is A Former President Of The Brain Injury Association Of Florida
Prior to founding Toral & Associates in 1995, traumatic brain injury attorney Frank Toral served as Assistant State Attorney, working in the office of the Broward County State Attorney from 1992-1993, where he tried more than 50 jury trials and had a great deal of direct contact with individuals who had been injured due to the negligence of others. It was during his tenure with the State Attorney’s office that Mr. Toral began to notice a familiar pattern: many people, due to language barriers, social or economic status, had poor access to legal counsel. This realization caused him to take an active interest in helping such individuals, and as a result he left the State Attorney’s office to focus on personal injury law.
He spent the next two years honing his legal skills at a large Hollywood, Florida law firm, and in 1995 decided the time was right to begin his own Fort Lauderdale Law firms. Over time and with hard work Mr. Toral and his partners he turned their practice into one of the most respected law firms in Ft. Lauderdale. Together they expended their practice to include a Tampa personal injury law firm and a Tallahassee law firm which are both “satellite” practices.
Mr. Toral is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law School Center, where he earned his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1992. While in law school, Mr. Toral successfully competed in several national and local trial and appellate competitions.
