Toral Garcia Battista Attorneys At Law

Yeemee C. Chan

A Traumatic Brain Injury Lawyer Dedicated To Helping Those Who Suffer From TBI.

Yeemee Chan is a litigation attorney with Toral Garcia Battista, focusing on brain and spinal cord injuries. She started as a Summer Associate with the firm in 2007 and joined the firm as an Associate in August 2008. As a result of helping her sister through a serious brain disorder, Chan is dedicated to helping other people and their families, who have suffered a traumatic brain injury.

During law school, Chan donated her time and expertise as a teacher’s assistant, where she taught citation skills to first-year law students and wrote several citations skill guides that are still being used today. Mrs. Chan found joy in teaching younger students, so much so, that she spent time during her last year in law school teaching middle school students. Today, Chan remains actively involved in mentoring law students and graduates.

Chan graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2004 and received her law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2008. At Nova, she was an articles editor for Nova Law Review and published an article in Nova Law Review in 2007.

Chan is on the Board of Directors for the Broward County Justice Association and serves on the Association’s Law Student Outreach Committee. She also takes pride in working with her community.
