Tom Hoy is a seasoned finance and operations executive who brings business perspective from a versatile background in auditing and operational finance with international companies. Over the past 18 years, he has held progressive senior financial leadership roles with both privately held and publicly traded companies such as Ernst & Young LLP, Dutyfree Holdings Inc., YUM Restaurants International and Dufry AG. His in-depth knowledge of business processes, finance, and information systems means keeping the firm focused on continuous improvement and strong case management.
While serving in executive roles with international companies, Tom focused on the operational realities of managing complex multinational business, intricate distribution systems, trade compliance and corporate mergers and reorganizations. His experience is deep on the operational side and his results reflect hands-on leadership through positive cross-functional relationships.
Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and followed his public accounting experience by leading, as a controller and chief financial officer, various United States, Caribbean and Latin American entities.
Tom has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Rider University where he was a Presidential Scholar. Tom also has completed post-graduate work at Villanova University (Lean/Six Sigma) and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania (Strategic CFO Partnership).
Tom serves as Director and Treasurer for The SCANN Foundation, Inc. a charity serving orphaned street children in Africa. He is an avid supporter of the Epilepsy Foundation and makes an annual tradition of travelling with his entire family to Washington DC to participate in the National Walk For Epilepsy. Tom is fluent in English and Spanish.
